Retro Rewind Video Store Simulator FAQ

Is Multiplayer, Online, or Co-op available in Retro Rewind Video Store Simulator?

No. We are 100% focused on delivering a solid single-player experience. Adding multiplayer would require too much time and resources away from core store mechanics.

Does Retro Rewind Video Store Simulator run on Steam Deck?

Yes! The game is officially marked as Playable on Steam Deck by Valve. It offers partial controller support. While the UI isn't fully optimized for controllers yet, the 3D environment maintains a highly stable frame rate.

Are console ports planned?

We are currently focused on making the best PC game possible. Please donโ€™t expect console ports. Retro Rewind Video Store Simulator has been heavily optimized for PC performance to run flawlessly across a wide range of systems.

What languages are supported?

At launch, we officially support 3 languages: English, French, and German.

Are Mods or Steam Workshop supported?

There is no official Steam Workshop support for now, but local modding is absolutely allowed! (Check out our Retro Rewind Video Store Simulator wiki's Mods & Tech section to learn how to add your own custom MP4 videos to the in-game TVs!)

Do you plan more updates or have a roadmap?

We have many ideas from the community. Since the $19.90 game recently launched (March 17, 2026), our 3-person dev team is currently monitoring the release and gathering player feedback before finalizing post-launch updates.

Do you use AI for the game's art?

No AI. We are 10-year veterans in the video game and film industry. All the art in Retro Rewind Video Store Simulator is hand-drawn, modeled, and composed by our team (with the exception of a purchased foliage pack and some backend plugins).
